Objective
Fill all 5 rows by naming Premier League players that match each row's constraints. Try to maximise your total score — or switch to TARGET mode and aim to land on a specific number instead.
Row Constraints
- Club(s) — the player must have appeared for that club in the Premier League. No club shown means any club counts.
- Season range — the player must have appeared within those years (e.g. 2019 = the 2019–20 season).
- Qualifier — an optional extra condition such as nationality, position, or award. Qualifiers tagged SAME SEASON must be met in the same season they played for the club; qualifiers tagged CAREER just need to be true at any point in their PL career.
Scoring
Each puzzle has a stat category (Goals, Appearances, Assists, or Clean Sheets) and a mode:
- Season — your row score is the player's best single season within the constraints.
- Career — your row score is the sum of that stat across every valid season.
The game automatically picks the highest valid score for you — you just need to find the right player.
Target Mode
Press TARGET in the footer to switch modes. Instead of maximising, try to get your total as close as possible to the target number. The score bar shows how much you have left — or how far over you've gone.
Percentile Tiers
Each answer is colour-coded against all valid players for that row:
- ■ Purple — 100th percentile (the single best answer)
- ■ Blue — 95th–99th percentile
- ■ Gold — 80th–94th percentile
- ■ Silver — 70th–79th percentile
- ■ Bronze — 60th–69th percentile
Tips
- You don't need to type accents — "Ruben" finds Rúben Dias.
- Use Give Up on a row if you're stuck — it won't count as a guess.
- Your answers are saved automatically — close the tab and come back any time.
- Hit SHARE after finishing to copy your results to your clipboard.
- Check STATS to see your streak, average percentile, and puzzle history.
